Discussion: Visited Lochboisdale and Eriskay for the first time July 2010. We went with my dad Donald Johnstone, it was the first time he had been back in Eriskay since he left about 50+ years ago. He has noticed a few changes!!! My dad is 71 now (born February 1939) and never thought he would return to Eriskay. We had a fantastic time and even met some relations. My dad didn't think he would know anyone !
We found everyone to be really friendly and helpful and just wanted to say 'Thanks' making it such a special time for us!
If anyone thinks they may know my dad please get in touch ! I think he said he was born in Chapel Road.
